Facebook Testing New Summary Email Feature

Facebook has started testing a new feature that lets users to receive summary emails instead of all individual notification email.

Facebook on their official wall informed users about this new feature.

"We're testing a feature for people who are very active on Facebook and receive lots of email notifications from us. We'll provide a new summary email and turn off most individual email notifications. If you want to turn them back on, there's a control in your account settings."

This new "Email Frequency" feature well suits to users who are very active on Facebook and receives bulk of email in their Inbox as notification email.



This feature is in testing mode and is available for selected users only. They can now choose whether to receive all email notifications or summary emails.
